Infinite Prayers is a micro-fund for young people (ages 16-24) working on turning humanity's oldest prayers into engineering problems and solving them.

Human demand is not infinite for most things. You stop wanting a second car. You do not stop wanting to live, or to stop hurting, or to have enough, or to matter. Those wants are inelastic. No one has ever wanted less of them at any price.

For almost all of history the only technology we had for wants that large was prayer. Everything else was out of reach.

That is changing. Biology, energy, materials, and computation have each crossed a threshold in the last decade where problems that were permanent became merely expensive. Expensive is a solvable state. Permanent is not.

The constraint was never demand. The prayers were always there. The constraint is supply, and supply is built by people.

Infinite Prayers writes first checks to people between 16 and 24 who are collapsing the cost of something that used to be impossible, in biology, space, mining, energy, and the social problems that are just as old.

We are looking for three things.

• You believe this is the largest opportunity of your lifetime, and you can explain why you believe it.
• The problem is old and your approach is new. Something changed recently that makes this possible now and not five years ago.
• You can show something real in 6 to 12 months. Not a company. Proof that the thing works.
